In 1986, my mother travelled to Halifax, and she brought back the "False Knight upon the Road". It is absolutely delightful, and I know all the songs by heart now.
Thanks ever so much for your music!
Kind regards from Germany

Saw you on BT this morning, and also caught the end of a presentation you did on eastlink a few days ago (not sure if it was recent of not, but you mentioned your new book so can't be too old). I found a lot of it interesting, esspecially that we had veterns of Waterloo in Nova Scotia. Now that I think about it, it isn't all that surprising since Napoleon's campaigns across Europe were a big concern to Britain, so by extension Canada would be involved somehow. Still, it was fascinating to learn that this was the case.
I'll probably pick up you book sometime soon as well. Don't suppose your having a signing soon?

Hello. I saw you metioned in the web site put up by the immigration department re the Home children. you had a song on there . The Ballad of Charles Devonport and it was really moving. There were 2 home children who lived with my husbands Great Grandfather on a farm and we know that they were well looked after and we also learned who they were.
Love your music.

Hi Clary
Just a note to tell you how much I have enjoyed performing some of your music with the Riverport and Community Choir this past year.
You and I attended the same school at one point in time, not sure if it was BC Silver or Halifax West, something tells me it may have been both.
You were always so very talented.

Hi Clary,
I first heard you sing at the Clipper Cay in Halifax in 1977. It was a pleasure then and I have done my best to get what I could of lyour recordings. Is is a shame that I can't find you anywhere on iTunes.
I have played my only cassette tape to shreds and would love to buy more of your music.

You and your wife are fantastic, cheers!

Hi Clary,
We've been coming to NS every summer for 43 years, and on one of our first trips I bought a cassette of you at Lunenburg. It's been a family favorite, and we end every summer at the ferry dock singing Farewell to Nova Scotia along with you. I love the cassette so much, and have never found it remastered on a CD, that I send it to people I share music with because I'm afraid they might have missed it. I sent a copy to Dan McKinnon, along with an old Golden Bough CD, and he told me of this website. It occurred to me that I ought to say thank you.
